Do you collect miniatures?
I’ve come up with the perfect slogan: “Miniatures are the new adult coloring books!” And let me tell you, they’re absolutely a pop culture phenomenon taking over in 2025. From nostalgic escapes to stress-relieving creativity, adults are flocking to these tiny treasures for good reason—that irresistible cuteness that triggers feel-good vibes. It’s cheaper than therapy, evokes childhood wonder, and lets you experiment with design without breaking the bank, much like those coloring books did a few years back.
They’re taking over social media, where creators share tiny kitchens, dollhouses, and collections that rack up millions of views. Companies like Zuru Toys Mini Brands and MGA Miniverse are dominating toy aisles at Target and Walmart. Even Architectural Digest spotlighted the trend in their article “Inside the Very Big World of Really Tiny Things,” where I was interviewed about my minis.
As a miniature collector, I’m obsessed with curating these little worlds.
